National Certificate in Reticulation Level 4 (Supervisor)
This course is designed for people who supervise maintenance and operations in water reticulation, and people with specialist skills in associated activities.
It has two strands - water and wastewater
This course covers skills and knowledge that include:
Client Liaison
Public Notification
Resource Allocation
Record Keeping
Hazard Control
Leadership
It also covers specialist reticulation skills in:
Reticulation Asset Management
Pipe Jointing Systems
Trenching and Maintenance for Water, Wastewater and Stormwater
The water strand is for people who are supervising cleaning, maintaining and monitoring water reticulation systems.
The wastewater strand is for people who are supervising wastewater flow measurements, sewer cleaning, blockage removal, corrosion and odour control.
Duration:
This course typically takes 18 months of part-time study, including about classroom time, plus on-job training and assessment.
